Two players that represented the U.S. at the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup return to the fold: goalkeeper Zackory Campagnolo and midfielder Santiago Morales

Former U-16 MYNT head coach Shaun Tsakiris will lead the training camp. Tsakiris is currently head coach of LA Galaxy U-17 and served as an assistant during the 2022-23 U-20 MYNT cycle.

The 2007 age group will then become the U-18 MYNT, while the current U-16 MYNT will become the U-17 MYNT and compete at the 2025 Concacaf U-17 Championship with the goal of qualifying for the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup.

Gonzalo Segares, who led the U.S. to the knockout stage of the 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup, will serve as head coach for the 2008-birth year U-16 MYNT this year and continue with the 2008s as they transition to become the U-17 MYNT on Aug. 1.

Fifteen clubs are represented on the roster, led by three players each from MLS’ Inter Miami CF, LA Galaxy and New York City FC. Atlanta United FC, FC Dallas and Seattle Sounders FC also have two players apiece.
