Train with Virginia Tech women this summer
What are your plans for the coming summer? How are you going to practice? How are you going to improve so that you can play college soccer? These are the questions that many student athletes may be asking themselves as the school year comes to a close and summer approaches.
Charles “Chugger” Adair, the head coach of women’s soccer at Virginia Tech, understands the problems that student athletes face. This is why his Virginia Tech coaching staff, in cooperation with other top college programs, will be leading young players at Virginia Tech women’s soccer camps this summer.
Virginia Tech will be offering summer training camps aimed at improving student athletes and preparing them for playing soccer at the collegiate level. The camps will focus on tactical training as well as technical training, aiming to improve a player’s overall skill level as well as their general soccer knowledge.
Camps such as the ones offered by Virginia Tech will give players more than just the chance to improve their game. These camps will also allow players to get a feeling for what a college campus is like. But more importantly, it will offer them the chance to showcase their skills and abilities to college coaches. Virginia Tech women’s soccer camps are the perfect opportunity for players to connect with college coaches and prove that they have what it takes to play at the next level.
Virginia Tech will offer three unique women’s soccer camp sessions this summer:
The Elite camp is meant only for serious club and high school players who are seeking to play soccer at a higher level. This camp is focused on training players at the level of a collegiate athlete so that they understand what it takes to play at the next level. The Elite camp will run from July 11 – July 14.
The Advanced camp is geared towards the “total” soccer player and is meant for players ages 10-18. This camp is less intense than the Elite camp and is focused on maximizing a player’s soccer potential in a positive but competitive environment. This camp is meant to develop the technical skills of a player, allowing them to improve and play faster and better. The Advanced camp will run from July 8 – July 11.
Virginia Tech will also offer a day camp session for younger athletes. The day camp session will cover basic skill and focuses on fun and education. This session will run from June 18 – June 22 and does not have a residential option.
