Twin City Youth Soccer Association (TCYSA) and Greensboro United Soccer Association (GUSA) are proud to announce the merger of their Boys College Showcase Events.   

TCYSA’s event, formerly known as the Twin City Boys College Showcase, and recently known as the Southern Soccer Showcase for Boys, has consistently attracted North Carolina and surrounding states’ club teams looking to play in front of local college coaches at BB&T Soccer Park.  It has included college teams, such as Elon University, Campbell, Wingate, Lenoir Rhyne, Greensboro College, and Lees McRae. 

GUSA’s event, formerly known as the ACC Hall of Champions Boys Showcase, has attracted high level club teams from Kentucky, Florida, Tennessee, Virginia, South Carolina, Georgia, and West Virginia looking to play in front of Atlantic Coast Conference schools at Bryan Park.  In less than 2 years, the event has doubled the number of teams attending.  The event has included exhibition games between Top 25 Division 1 Ranked teams including:  UNC-Chapel Hill, Wake Forest, Duke, Virginia, Clemson, and UNC-Charlotte, among others. 

The new merged event will be called the “ACC Hall of Champions Southern Soccer Showcase for Boys” and will be held at Bryan Park in Greensboro, NC from April 10^th to 12^th, 2015.  The Showcase will be hosted by the North Carolina Soccer Fusion, an Elite club merger of the top players from TCYSA and GUSA.   Co-Tournament Directors, Scott Wollaston and Gary Gartner, are excited that the new event is already generating a lot of excitement and anticipate a significant number of college coaches to be in attendance. 

“The merged Showcase combines 2 great events that will bring top u14 to u19 club teams alongside Division 1, 2, & 3 college teams.  It will be one of the best Boys Showcase events in the Southeast!” said Scott Wollaston, Executive Director of TCYSA. 

“With the partnership between the clubs through the NC Soccer Fusion, the combined event makes so much sense.  We will now be able to provide the appropriate exposure to high school aged club players to many different collegiate levels at one location (Bryan Park), “ said Pete Polonsky, Executive Director of GUSA.
